'Am as talented as Meryl Streep & Gal Gadot', says Kangana Ranaut; trolled by Indians

 

MUMBAI: Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut has claimed to be as talented as American actress and singer Meryl Streep for layered character depictions as well as can do skilled action and glamour like Israeli actress Gal Gadot in a tweet posted on her Twitter handle on Tuesday.

Kangana, never one to shy away from controversy, wrote on Twitter, “Massive transformation alert, The kind of range I display as a performer no other actress on this globe has that right now, I have raw talent like Meryl Streep for layered character depictions but I can also do skilled action and glamour like Gal Gadot #Thalaivi #Dhaakad.”

 

 

 

Kangana's show of 'confidence' has not gone down too well with a section of netizens, who have trolled her mercilessly on the microblogging site.

 

“Since you know it all can you explain what exactly is narcissistic personality disorder?,” asked one user.

 

 

 

 

Responding to the slight, Kangana wrote, “Pls prove my claims wrong or illogical, will accept my statements as gloating disorder, if you can’t then you too have to accept, in this world of mediocre hyenas who will do anything to look through genuine talent Modesty is not good not at the cost of HONESTY. Snatch your due. (sic)”

 

 

 

 

Another user going by the name Yatin Gupta wrote, “Kangana and Meryl Streep in one breath? BLASPHEMY. Kangana is nowhere close to Meryl and can never be. Why is Kangana so pompous?.”

 

 

 

Not one to stay quiet, Kangana responded with, “I honestly want to know why do we worship white people? Forget their budgets and our age gap, tell me about just acting can she do Thalaivi and Dhaakad? Queen and Tanu? Fashion and Panga? Kaya and Datto? Answer is she can’t, then why not emerge from the deep rooted complex?.”

 

 

 

The 'Queen' actress was recently in the news for a Twitter beef with international pop superstar Rihanna, whom she has termed a "fool" for supporting the Indian farmers protesting against the Centre's new controversial farm laws.
