'Baahubali' series to re-release in theatres, announces Karan Johar

Mumbai: The fans of SS Rajamouli’s epic 'Baahubali' series have a reason to rejoice as the movie is all set to re-release in theatres. Producer Karan Johar took to his Twitter handle and shared the news with the audience.

Karan Johar who is associated with Baahubali, took to his Twitter handle and wrote, “"The magic is set to unravel again! #BaahubaliTheBeginning and #Baahubali2 - The Conclusion, re-releasing soon (sic)."

According to the poster shared by Johar, the film starring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati and Anushka Shetty will re-release in two installments. Baahubali: The Beginning will release this week and Baahubali: The Conclusion will release in the coming week.

The epic saga 'Baahubali' was directed by SS Rajamouli. The film stars Prabhas, Anushka Shetty, Rana Daggubati, Tamannaah, Ramya Krishnan, and Sathyaraj in pivotal roles.

The war drama 'Baahubali 2: The Conclusion' was released on April 28, 2017, while 'Baahubali: The Beginning' was released on July 10, 2015.

Apart from Baahubali, the biggest hit of 2018- KGF; Chapter 1 was also re-released in the theatres from October 23 to October 29.

Theatres in the country were allowed to resume from October 15th onwards. 

The theatres in the country remained closed for nearly eight months due to the novel coronavirus pandemic. However, the theatres can now only operate will 50% seating capacity.

Currently, in order to regain the confidence of the viewers, the cinema halls have been playing old hit movies.
