The 2nd edition of the Brillante-Nagaland Piano Festival began on Tuesday at the Regional Centre of Excellence for Music & Performing Arts (RCEMPA) in Jotsoma, Kohima district.

It will be a three-day celebration which will witness the beauty and versatility of piano. The festival is a convergence of local, national and international pianists engaging in multi-genre piano music through performance, pedagogy, competition, interactions, practicum (workshops, demos, master classes, etc) and other novelty activities happening all in one venue.

Advisor to Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, Abu Metha graced the inaugural function as special guest of the group.
The three-day festival is a tribute to Piano music in Nagaland and a celebration on the heritage of Piano music to the Nagas. Running the second edition, the Festival is organized by the Brillante event team led by Khyochano TCK in collaboration with TAFMA, NPTA, imagi.nation, Music Academy Kohima, Furtados and media partner Nagaland Post.
