Crooner Debo's Latest Track 'Maaz Nixa' takes Assam by Storm

Assamese singing sensation 'Debo', a darling of the youngsters of Assam for his seminal hit 'Xullo Son' ('12 Year), has once again infused melody into the lives of music-lovers with his latest smash hit, 'Maaz Nixa'.

The singer, who is exceedingly popular among the youngsters of the state for his earnest melodies that he fuses with electro-pop, has now earned applause for his track Maaz Nixa (Midnight).

The track, released on January 18, has already proved to be astonishingly popular and has already racked up 136,000 views on video-sharing platform YouTube. A collaboration with Abhikhit (AARXSLAN), the singer has this time brought to the masses a tale of love and rejection.

Sung in Debo's usual lackadaisical-yet-heartfelt style, the song features myriad sounds and the fusion of all the elements makes for a heady mix.

The video to the song, which has proven to be a smash hit among youngsters, has been shot in picturesque locations, and features a distraught Debo singing about love and wondering out loud "xosa prem aji nu kaak koi" (what is love nowadays).
