Divya Bhatnagar, popular Indian TV actor, passes away aged 34

MUMBAI: Popular TV actress Divya Bhatnagar passed away earlier today following Covid-19 related complications.

She was 34-years-old. Several TV celebrities took to social media to mourn the loss of the actress.

Divya’s Yeh Rishta co-star Karan Mehra took to Instagram and wrote, “Woke up today to this shocking news of my colleague @divyabhatnagarofficial passing away. One of my favorite people on sets who would light up the room with her laughter and cuteness...Such is life with its hardships and uncertainties...May God rest your soul in peace (sic)."

A popular face on Indian TV, Divya Bhatnagar passed away earlier today following Covid-19 complications, leaving the industry in a state of shock and mourning.

The 34 year old actor, who acted in hit serials like Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata and Udaan among others, breathed her last today morning at a private hospital in Mumbai.

Divya was admitted to hospital in the last week of November following which her condition kept deteriorating.

Many actors from the TV industry expressed shock and grief over the untimely death of the young actor.
