Kohima, June 10, 2019:

Good news for K-Pop fans in Nagaland and Assam! K-Pop star Jang Hanbyul is set to visit the Northeast and mesmerize audiences later in the year.

The Korean star Jang Hanbyul will be on a 'Summer Start Tour' in India and will be performing Live in Dimapur on 20 July and Kohima on 23 July, 2019. Moreover, he will also be performing in Diphu town in Assam's Karbi Anglong district on 21 July.

Jang Han-byul is an Australian-born singer and television personality of Korean origin who appeared on the television shows 'Code: Secret Room' and 'Society Game'. He is the former lead vocalist of 'LEDApple' and made his official debut with mini-album 'CODA' on November 2011.

It may be mentioned that Korean songs, movies and fashion styles are followed closely by many young people in the seven states of the region.

The North Eastern public has been loyal fans of K-Pop ever since the 'Hallyu wave' struck.

Other regions of India probably had its first interaction with K-Pop after PSY's wildly popular 'Gangnam' Style made its presence felt in the global arena.
