'Kaun Banega Crorepati' will get its first Crorepati next week

Mumbai: 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' will have its first ‘crorepati’ this week, the new promo video revealed.

The episode will be aired on November 11 at 9pm.

Sony TV’s twitter page shared a short video showing a Delhi-based communications manager named Nazia Nasim sitting across the host Amitabh Bachchan, who applauds her knowledge.

“What an incredible game you have played,” Bachchan says in the video, as a glimpses of tense moments, including the host yelling, “Ek crore!” in celebration.

Kaun Banega Crorepati 12 launched on September 28. Due to the Coronavirus, this season also has a lot of changes. For the first time the auditions were conducted online.

Additionally, the Audience Poll lifeline has also been scrapped for the first time in the history of the show.

Meanwhile, this year is also special for Amitabh, as it marks two decades of his association with Kaun Banega Crorepati, with which he made his television debut in 2000. He has hosted every season, except the third season, which was hosted by Shah Rukh Khan.

Recently, the show has also run into a controversy after a question related  to Manusmirti, which kicked up a storm on social media.
