MUMBAI: A Mumbai court sent Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan to the custody of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) along with 7 others till October 7. All have been sent to custody in connection with a cruise drug bust case.
During a court hearing on Monday, Aryan Khan's lawyer Satish Maneshinde argued that nothing was recovered from his client and asked the court to grant him bail.

The NCB, on the other hand, argued that the investigation is ongoing and therefore Aryan Khan's custody was needed for further probe.
The court observed that the investigation was of prime importance and granted NCB custody of Aryan Khan till October 7.
"Considering this aspect, the presence of the accused with NCB is necessary. Remanded till 7," the court stated.
Aryan Khan on Sunday along with seven other people who were on the Cordelia Cruises' Empress ship for a rave party. The NCB has detained Munmun Dhamecha, Nupur Sarika, Ismeet Singh, Mohak Jaswal, Vikrant Chhoker, Gomit Chopra and Arbaaz Merchantt, along with Aryan Khan. Of the eight people, Aryan, Arbaaz and Munmun have been arrested.
NCB seized 13 grams of cocaine, 5 grams of MD, 21 grams of charas, 22 pills of MDMA (ecstasy) and Rs 1.33 lakh in cash from the accused.
The NCB claimed to have found “incriminating material” in Aryan Khan's phone in connection with the cruise drug bust case.
