Assam's music icon Zubeen Garg made some interesting comments during one of the final Bihu shows of the current 'Bohag' season.
The event was being organized in Mirza. The crooner made the admission that he will leave all he has earned for charity. "Whatever I have earned, whatever I have done, I will leave it all to you", he said, addressing the audience.
"When I will pass on, everyone will sing my song 'Mayabini'.
Zubeen also threw away factory-made 'Gamusas' on the stage. He urged the people to use hand-woven 'Gamusas' and support the handloom industry in the state.
The popular singer also threw off his shirt and performed wearing only a vest.
Assam's popular singer is well-known for his benevolent nature.
On Wednesday morning, while Zubeen was returning from his music show at Rangjuli, he noticed a vehicle that met with some accident at the National Highway in Kawoimori of Chaygaon district. Zubeen stopped his car, called out the locals for help and sent the injured person to the hospital in an ambulance.
At the time when people try to escape from a place where they notice any incident like that fearing to fall into any law and order situation, the singing sensation has always set an example for such people.
Apart from music, Zubeen Garg is popularly known for his social activities. Many a time, he is seen to provide financial support to many people suffering from diseases, education and he even raised his against many environmental issues.
