After the new drug angle in the Sushant Singh Rajput Case, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Friday raided the late actor’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty’s house.
The NCB team further went on to search the residence of Samuel Miranda in connection with the drugs probe linked to the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput.
According to reports, Rhea’s brother Showik Chakraborty has been detained and taken for questioning by the team after a drug peddler mentioned his name in the statement.

An NCB officer said as there was a lot of media presence during the raids, both told the sleuths that they will come along with NCB team.
They are being taken by the NCB search team and will be questioned now, the officer said.
Reportedly, there were 8 NCB members and cops inside Chakraborty’s residence, looking for evidence that can corroborate the alleged ‘drug link’ based on the WhatsApp chats which were shared by the ED (Enforcement Directorate) with the agency. The laptops and hard drives of Rhea ’s brother Showik Chakraborty are likely to be seized by the NCB.
The NCB has arrested two alleged drug peddlers operating in the capital city of Maharashtra in this case till now and it has detained one person.
Meanwhile, the Central Bureau of Investigation released their first official statement on Thursday evening, terming all media reports attributed to it on its probe into the Rajput's death as "speculative and not based on facts."
The agency further added, "Certain media reports attributed to CBI investigation are speculative and not based on facts. It is reiterated that as a matter of policy, CBI does not share details of the ongoing investigation.”
Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his Mumbai apartment on June 14. On August 19, the Supreme Court had asked the Central Investigation Bureau (CBI) to investigate the case related to the actor’s death. Sushant’s father had filed an FIR in Patna against actor’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and five others for abetment to suicide.
