Viral singing sensation Ranu Mondal from West Bengal, who won over hearts nationwide with her rendition of classic songs, has landed in the soup for allegedly misbehaving with a fan.

In a video that now quickly going viral nationwide, Ranu can be seen objecting to being tapped on her arm. A woman can be seen approaching Ranu, and then , proceeds to touch her arm. "What is this?", Ranu asks immediately,

After this video went viral on social media, Ranu was torched by irate netizens, who claimed that fame has gone to her head.
"We made her celebrity and now see her attitude", wrote a dejected fan. "Ranu Mondal say Don't touch .... I'm celebrity now", wrote another. However, some fans came to her rescue. "You just can't judge someone on the basis of this short clip", one social media user said.
It may be mentioned here that the crooner from Bengal became an overnight sensation after a video of her singing a Lata Mangeshkar song at the Ranaghat Railway station went viral. She went on to record songs with ace composer, Himesh Reshammiya. Videos staring the humble star from Bengal lit up social media and were shared and viewed millions upon millions of times.
