National award winning Assamese film Director, Rima Das has reached China for her short film, ‘For Each Other’.
Her new project has premiered at the prestigious Pingyao International Film Festival (PYIFF) today.

Rima Das took to Twitter to share this and said, “Delighted that my short film 'For Each Other', part of the 'Neighbors' anthology is premiering at Pingyao IFF today. This is even more special as my favorite filmmaker @Jia_Zhangke is the Executive Producer of the films. My best wishes to my fellow #BRICS filmmakers.”
The Pingyao International Film Festival (PYIFF) is being held in Pingyao, Shanxi, China. Launched in 2017, the fest aims to bring attention to work done by young, lesser known directors in the Chinese film industry. Its goal is to encourage communication and cooperation between Chinese and international filmmakers.
