Geeta Sharma, who hails from Singtam in East Sikkim, is impressing the judges of 'The Voice of Nepal' Season 2 reality show at Kathmandu, Nepal.

The young Nepali girl is earning accolades from the Nepali-speaking communities across the world. Only time will tell whether she will go all the way and win the coveted title, but from the early rounds, it is clearly evident that she is untoubtedly one of the stronger contenders for the crown.

The young singing sensation is the recipient of the Sikkim State Award and had also lent her voice to the Indian Idol Prashant Tamang starring Nepali feature film "Angalo Yo Maya Ko", in the year 2010.

The Voice of Nepal is the Nepalese format of the international TV singing reality series called The Voice whose first season is won by CD Vijaya Adhikari from Team Deep.

The host of this new series is Sushil Nepal and Oshin Sitoula, the coaches are Deep Shrestha, Sanup Poudel, Abhaya Subba and Pramod Kharel and the series is directed by Laxman Paudyal, the former director of Nepal's first international franchise singing reality show Nepal Idol season one.
