Thugs of Hindustan trailer review

This year saw various genres spicing up the silver screen with yet another coming to burn the floor. After a prolonged anticipation, the wait is finally over as Vijay Krishna Acharya's directorial venture‘Thugs of Hindostan’ has released its trailer.

The film features Amir Khan, Big-B Amitabh Bacchan, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Katrina Kaif. This action packed film has brought one of the best duos-Amitabh Bacchan and Amir Khan-together in the big screen for the first time.

From the trailer it seems that the film is an amalgamation of the Hollywood blockbusters- The Pirates of the Caribbean and The Game of Thrones-as  Firangi (Aamir Khan) somewhat resembles the character of   Johnny Depp's Captain Jack Sparrow; while  Fatima Sana Shaikh’s  stunt scenes reminds us of Yara Greyjoy’s stint on Game of Thrones.

Releasing on 8^th of November, the story takes us to 1795, when East India Company entered India with the aim of trade but ended up ruling the country. But thugs like Azaad(Amitabh Bacchan) didnot bow down to slavery and determined to do everything to liberate the country from the hands of the British. However to counter him, the East India Company hires the biggest thug Firangi(AmirKhan).

Now it will be interesting to see if Firangi topples down Azaad or joins Azaad deceiving the British. The trailer seems very promising with all the graphics, dialogues and scenes falling in tune. The venture is expected to be the biggest release of the year.
