Thuwu-Ni Festival, traditionally held in Pughoboto area, has been shifted to Dimapur this year. This time, the yearly fest will be held at the Noune Resort and will be held from November 27-29.
The venue has been changed in order to cater to bigger audiences and make it more accessible to the visitors and tourists.

Some of the activities to be showcased at the festival include silent disco, drive in movie, adventure and outdoor activities, pink night etc.
The unique concept of 'Silent disco' is being introduced for the first time in the state and the organizers said it would be an eco-friendly party without noise pollution with Bluetooth connected ear phones.

Angling, boat ride, water safari, ATV, quad biking and outdoor camping are some other features of the festival. Bands like Avora Records, Polar Lights, Melodrama, Chicken Head, Teaspoon Project would also be performing on the first day. Pink Night has been scheduled on day three with DJs from Ukraine, Bangalore and Nagaland to perform on that day.
The cost of the tickets for Normal and VIP are Rs. 300 and Rs. 1000 respectively. The organizers have informed that only limited tickets will be sold per day.
Thuwu-Ni festival was privatized in 2018 and its management was taken over by Musik-A, headed by renowned musician Alobo Naga.
