South Indian superstar Prabhas’s upcoming film Spirit just got a massive global upgrade. Korean action icon Don Lee, famed for his roles in Train to Busan and Marvel’s Eternals, has officially joined the cast.

The makers dropped the announcement on Wednesday with a bold poster welcoming Don Lee to the team, captioned “#SPIRIT.” Within moments, social media lit up with excitement as fans celebrated the unexpected India–Korea collaboration.

Helmed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the director behind Kabir Singh and Animal, Spirit has already been generating buzz for its intense tone and massive scale. Earlier this month, Vanga released a “sound story” teaser in five languages—Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam—on Prabhas’s birthday, giving fans a pulse-pounding glimpse of what’s to come.

The teaser carried the intriguing tagline: “The system knows his record. The streets know his rage. Now the world will know his #OneBadHabit.”

Besides Prabhas and Don Lee, the film stars Vivek Oberoi and Prakash Raj in key roles. Triptii Dimri has stepped in as the female lead after Deepika Padukone exited due to scheduling conflicts.

A joint venture between Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series and Vanga’s Bhadrakali Pictures, Spirit is slated for a 2026 release—and with Don Lee on board, the film’s action quotient just hit international territory.
