Tripura Deputy CM composed song 'Omono Ani Imang' to release on Dec 18

AGARTALA: Jishnu Dev Varma, the Tripura royal who is presently serving as the Deputy Chief Minister of Tripura, has shown that he has different shades to his personality. The father of two, who represents the Charilam Constituency in Tripura, has recently composed a musical number called 'Omono ani imang' that will see the light of day on December 18.

The teaser to the song (which has been named 'Omono ani imang' or 'This is My Dream') has been released by Mr. Devvarma via his YouTube profile and gives a one-minute-long glimpse into what could be one of the more interesting numbers released during the festive season.

The song, with lyrics and concept by the Deputy Chief Minister, juxtaposes traditional instruments with modern ones, giving a soothing feel that feels contemporary as well as otherworldly.

The 63-year-old features in the video himself, and can be seen in a passive mood, penning his thoughts down on paper.

The full version of 'Omono Ani Imang' will be officially unveiled during a grand ceremony to be held at the Sukanta Academy in the capital city of Agartala.
