Viju Khote, the veteran actor who has starred in many Bollywood films, passed away today due to a heart attack. He was 77.
Viju Khote was an Indian actor who is known for his work in more than 300 films in Hindi and Marathi cinema. He is famous as the dacoit Kalia in the film Sholay and the dialogue, "Sardar maine aapka namak khaya hai" and Robert in movie Andaz Apna Apna with the dialogue "galti se mistake hogaya". In the iconic film Sholay, he only had two dialogues.
Viju and actor Amjad Khan--who played Gabbar Singh in 'Sholay'-- worked multiple times together.

Khote, who made his foray into films in 1964, also acted in several Marathi films.
