Akshay Kumar's heroic mission: Rescuing miners trapped in flooded coal mine in 'Raniganj' movie

Prepare to be engrossed in the compelling story of one of India's most amazing and audacious victories: the rescue of 65 workers who were trapped in a flooded coal mine.

Here is the first teaser for the next thriller starring Akshay Kumar. The movie, Mission Raniganj, is about a man's attempt to save the lives of defenceless workers who are trapped in a coal mine. Parineeti Chopra plays the role of Akshay's wife in the movie. 

A large group of miners working underground are killed as a mine collapses in the trailer's opening scene. While they are shouting and pleading for help, Akshay Kumar is standing over them and getting ready to send in a rescue team. In the film, he portrays a Sikh engineer who will do anything to preserve the lives of the guys. 

The actual story of the late Jaswant Singh Gill, who oversaw India's first successful coal mine rescue expedition, served as the basis for the film expedition Raniganj.

The movie is scheduled to premiere on October 6. The tune Jalsa 2.0, which was just released, earned positive reviews from the fans. Satinder Sartaaj wrote the song's lyrics and sang it. Parineeti and Akshay were dressed in Punjabi clothing. On catchy desi beats, the duo can be seen performing Bhangra.
