Assam: Bokakhat hosts Rudra film screening for Kaziranga forest workers

Bokakhat recently hosted a special screening of the film Rudra for 300 forest workers from Kaziranga National Park, along with children from the Bokakhat Disability Centre and a local orphanage.

The event was organised by the Rudra family to promote wildlife conservation.

The screening was held at the Chandra Cinema Hall and attracted hundreds of local spectators.
Many forest workers, who had not attended such an event in a long time, expressed their enjoyment and appreciation for the film.

Range officers from all four forest ranges of Kaziranga National Park attended the premiere, underlining the importance of the occasion.

The event brought together conservation staff, children with disabilities, orphans, and local residents to celebrate cinema and raise environmental awareness.

The screening of Rudra provided a rare opportunity for community entertainment and recognition of the efforts of Kaziranga’s forest protection teams, whose work is vital to preserving the park’s wildlife heritage.
