With floods wreaking havoc in Kaliabor, displacing thousands, and forcing them to seek refuge in camps over the past nine days, Shanta Sarmah's presence and efforts have provided much-needed relief and comfort.

Sarmah, renowned for her culinary expertise, personally cooked meals for three hundred flood victims, ensuring they received nourishing food during these trying times.

Her dedication extended beyond the kitchen as she distributed food items to hundreds more who were taking shelter at Misa in Kaliabor.
