A recent airport video of Telugu superstar Allu Arjun has ignited a heated online discussion, after the Pushpa actor appeared momentarily hesitant to remove his mask during an ID check.
The incident occurred at Mumbai airport, where Allu Arjun was travelling with his family. In the now-viral clip, a CISF officer can be seen requesting the actor to briefly remove his mask for security verification. After a short pause, Arjun complied, revealing his face before quickly putting the mask back on.
While some social media users defended the officer, stressing that “rules apply to everyone,” others accused the actor of being “rude and entitled.” One comment noted, “The CISF person was just doing his duty asking him to match the face with the Aadhar card.” Several also observed that while many celebrities opt for masks in public, their accompanying staff often do not.
The video, shot from a distance, makes it difficult to determine whether Allu Arjun was genuinely offended. Still, the online reactions underscore a growing public scrutiny of film stars, with this incident becoming yet another flashpoint in the debate over celebrity behaviour in everyday situations.
