'Laapataa Ladies' premiere: Ayan Mukerji and Kiran Rao shared a warm hug moment

A special screening of Kiran Rao's upcoming directorial, 'Laapataa Ladies', was held on February 27, with a host of celebrities in attendance. Notable attendees included Salman Khan, Kajol, Sunny Deol, Karan Johar, and filmmaker Ayan Mukerji.

A video of Mukerji and Rao, who share a long-standing friendship, warmly greeting each other has surfaced online. Mukerji, the director of 'Brahmastra', was seen giving Rao a tight hug upon his arrival at the venue.

The duo's association dates back to their time on the set of 'Swades', where Mukerji served as an assistant director at the age of 19.
