Orange Festival Day 2: A taste of Arunachal Pradesh

At the heart of the scenic hills of Dambuk in Arunachal Pradesh, the second day of the Orange Festival of Adventure and Music unfolded as a vibrant extravaganza. The festival celebrates the harvest of the region's renowned oranges, offering a delightful taste of Arunachal Pradesh. Amidst the rhythmic tunes of the festival music, a visit to the Golden Pagoda, also known as Kongmu Kham in the Tai-Khamti language, is highly recommended. This Burmese-style Buddhist temple, inaugurated in 2010, is spread across 20 hectares of land, with the main shrine occupying a plinth area of 4272.58 sq ft and standing 17.60 m tall. Just a short 3 km journey from Roing will lead you to Sally Lake. This natural water body, surrounded by a lush green forest, offers a peaceful and serene atmosphere. The lake provides a stunning view of the beautiful valley below and the Dibang River, which spreads its branches in multiple directions. The clear waters of the lake are home to beautiful fishes.
