Rana Daggubati touches SRK’s feet at IIFA 2024, says 'we're fully South Indian'

Rana Daggubati showed how South Indians do it as he touched Shah Rukh Khan's feet at the IIFA (International Indian Film Academy Awards) Awards 2024 press conference. Before Rana, Siddhant and Abhishek joked around as they touched their own feet for laughs.

The event, which was held in Mumbai on September 10, saw Shah Rukh Khan, Karan Johar, Rana Daggubati, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Abhishek Banerjee in attendance.

At the press conference, Karan invited Rana to the stage. The Baahubali actor touched SRK and Karan's feet and said, "We're fully South Indians. This is how we do it." SRK smiled and greeted him with a warm hug and a kiss.

Speaking at the event, Rana recalled the time SRK played a great host and entertained celebrities from all four South Indian industries at his house in Dubai.

He said, "Sir, I don't know if you remember. We were four languages and had an event in Dubai at one point. We came to an after-party at your house." SRK instantly retorted, saying, "Should I tell them about it? I was trying to keep it under wraps."

Rana shared how 'hospitable' SRK was at the party. "He actually entertained the actors from all the four industries - not just as an actor, but as a human being. Thank you," he added.
