Shah Rukh Khan comforts nervous Janki Bodiwala as she won first-ever award at IIFA 2025

Janki Bodiwala, who made a remarkable impression as Ajay Devgn and Jyotika’s daughter in the 2024 horror-drama Shaitaan, achieved a significant milestone in her career by receiving her first-ever award at the International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA) 2025. The moment became even more special for the young actor as Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan presented the award to her, making it an unforgettable experience.

A video capturing Janki’s heartfelt reaction on stage alongside Shah Rukh Khan has gone viral on social media. In the clip, Janki appears visibly nervous before expressing her emotions, saying, "Actually, I am super nervous because I am getting this award from King Khan... Oh my God." Shah Rukh, in his characteristic humble manner, responded by reassuring her, "Don't be nervous. I am more nervous than you." The light-hearted and heartwarming exchange between the two actors received thunderous applause from the audience at the prestigious award ceremony, which took place in Jaipur.

Following the presentation of her award, Janki delivered an emotional acceptance speech, in which she thanked Shaitaan’s director Vikas Bahl and her co-stars Ajay Devgn, Madhavan, Jyothika, and Anngad Raaj for their support and guidance. As she concluded her speech, Shah Rukh Khan graciously escorted her down the stairs, holding her hand and hugging her before they parted ways.

Taking to Instagram, Janki shared the video of her surreal moment with the caption, "The dream of hearing ‘and the award goes to’ following my name has fulfilled today and that too from @iamsrk sir himself, can’t thank enough! Thank you @iifa for this lifetime memory (sic)." She continued, "Thank you @krishnadevyagnik for Vash, it wouldn’t have been possible without you.
