Tamil cinema star Suriya stunned fans by kneeling down before them during a promotional event for his upcoming film Kanguva at Lulu Mall in Kochi. The beloved actor expressed gratitude to the large crowd that gathered to support him on a weekday, thanking them for their enduring love and encouragement.
Suriya engaged with his fans for nearly 15 minutes, discussing the film's unique storyline and promising a novel cinematic experience when Kanguva hits theaters on November 14. He conveyed his excitement and confidence, highlighting the film's ambitious attempt to deliver something fresh for Tamil cinema.
During his speech, Suriya also took a moment to express his admiration for actor Dulquer Salmaan, whom he referred to as his "brother," encouraging fans to watch Salmaan’s recent release, Lucky Baskhar, in theaters along with Kanguva.
The Kochi event was part of Suriya’s extensive promotional tour across multiple cities, including Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru, where he has been interacting with fans in different languages. Directed by Siva, Kanguva marks one of the most anticipated Tamil films of the year and is set to open in theaters nationwide on November 14.
