Video: Mark Zuckerberg tests Meta AI model with throwback guitar video
Mark Zuckerberg, Meta's CEO, recently demonstrated the capabilities of Meta's new artificial intelligence (AI) model, V-JEPA, through an Instagram post. The post featured a throwback video of Zuckerberg singing and playing guitar for his daughter, Maxima, alongside a second video demonstrating V-JEPA's ability to predict his hand movements with impressive accuracy.
“Throwback to singing one of Max’s favourite songs. I recently tested this video with a new AI model that learns about the world by watching videos. Without being trained to do this, our AI model predicted my hand motion as I strummed chords. Swipe to see the results,” reads the caption.
V-JEPA, a non-generative model, stands out for its ability to predict missing or obscured parts of a video by analysing them in an abstract representation space, without any prior specific training. The Instagram post has received over 56k likes and numerous comments. The post has garnered over 56k likes and several comments.
