WPL 2023: Kiara Advani and Kriti Sanon gave the opening ceremony a star-studded look

The maiden Women's Premier League (WPL) kickstarted recently. The glittering opening ceremony of maiden Women's Premier League (WPL) witness the powerpact performance of Kiara Advani and Kriti Sanon on their hit Bollywood songs. 

Kriti looked stunning in a silver outfit, while Kiara oozed elegance and charm in a bright pink shimmering dress.

Soon after the performance, Kriti Sanon took to Instagram and said that she was honoured to perform at the opening ceremony of Women's Premier's League (WPL). 

“Aasmaan ka swaad hai, muddatton ke baad hai. It was an honour and a privilege to perform at the opening ceremony of the first ever Women’s Premier League! 💖”, Kriti wrote on her Instagram post.

“Cricket has always been looked as more of a male sport and I’m so happy and proud that the women cricketers are getting opportunities, platforms and validation that they have always deserved! WPL, which has been organised at a huge level and is being aired in 47 countries, is truly a symbol of change and progress. ♥️🙌🏻👏🏻 Thank you BCCI @wplt20 for making me a small part of the celebration of this change!! 😌✌️”, She expresses her gratitude towards BCCI.

After the performance, Kiara posted a video of it on her Instagram account and expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to play. She penned, "Humbled and honoured to perform Live at the first ever Women’s Premier League in India! A truly memorable moment for cricket lovers! #WPL #Proud #ChakDeGirls #ChakDeIndia looking forward to all the matches 🏏🤗🙌🏼💙".
