As many as eight children were killed in Afghanistan after a vehicle collided with a land mine in Afghanistan. According to reports, fifteen civilians, including eight children, were traveling in a car when it hit a land mine allegedly placed by Taliban terrorists in Afghanistan’s Kunduz province.

A government official informed that the collision occurred in the evening and six women and a man were also among those killed.
However, it may be mentioned that no group has claimed responsibility for the blast. According to sources, it is yet to be established whether it was a targeted attack on civilians.

The Kunduz blast comes less than a week after a foreign national was killed in Kabul. At least five other people were also wounded in the grenade attack in Kabul on Sunday.
