Chinese health authorities said on Tuesday that the death toll in China's coronavirus rose sharply to 425 with 64 deaths on Monday alone. Meanwhile, 3,235 new confirmed cases were reported, taking the number of those infected with the deadly disease to 20,438,
The 64 people who died on Monday were all from the Hubei province, the epicentre of the virus, China's National Health Commission said.

Meanwhile, Russia, that shares a 4,300km (2,670-mile) land border with China, has reported two cases of the deadly virus that has spread like a wildfire to over 20 countries across the world, with 2 deaths reported outside China (one in Philippines, and the other in Hong Kong).
Pakistan, meanwhile, has urged its nationals residing in China to register themselves with its embassy in Beijing, and flights have been resumed between the two countries amid the scare over the virus. Two Chinese fights have landed in Pakistan.

Britain, worried over the coronavirus outbreak, told its citizens on Tuesday to leave China if they could, saying the suspension of airline flights and restrictions on movement will make it harder to leave over coming weeks.
