Earthquake tremors were felt in Japan's capital Tokyo on Saturday. The tremors were felt at 8.14 am in the north-eastern (NNE) region, 407 km north of Tokyo.

Earthquake intensity on the Richter scale has been measured at 6.0. This has been confirmed by the National Center for Seismology.
