New Delhi, June 7, 2019:

As many as eight Indians were killed in the dreadful bus crash at Al Rashidiya in Dubai claiming the lives of 17 people on Thursday.

Meanwhile, four Indians have been discharged after receiving treatment in Rashid Hospital.

The Consulate General of India in the UAE on Friday took to the social media platform confirming, “We are sorry to inform that as per local authorities and relatives it is so far confirmed that eight Indians have passed away in Dubai bus accident. Consulate is in touch with relatives of some of the deceased and awaits further details for others to inform their families.”

According to reports, the bus was carrying 31 people that overran a traffic signal near the Rashidiya metro station.

The deceased has been identified as Rajagopalan, Reshma Feroz Khan Pathan, Feroz Khan Pathan, Deepak Kumar, Kiran Johnny, Vasudev, Jamaludeen Arakkaveettil, and Tilakram Jawahar Thakur.
