A team of Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) of Iraq has captured Hate Preacher ISIS leader Abu Abdul Bari, who is dubbed as “Jabba the Jihadi” on social media.
The Iraqi forces nabbed him from the city of Mosul but to accommodate Jabba the Jihadi, they had to hire a flatbed pickup truck. The ISIS leader, weighing at a whopping 250 kg approximately, was loaded onto the vehicle and taken away.
According to the Iraqi forces, the leader, also called Shifa al-Nima, is mainly known for his provocative speeches against the security forces and is considered as one of the top leaders of the “ISIS gangs.
A statement released by the Iraqi officials stated that “Jabba the Jihadi” passed fatwas to order the executions of Islamic clerics and scholars who refused to join ISIS.
He was also held responsible for a terror incident, which included the destruction of a mosque constructed on the site where Biblical Prophet Jonah is believed to be buried.
Human Rights activist and anti-ISIS campaigner Macer Gifford took to Twitter to share his joy at the arrest of “Jabba the Jihadi”. He wrote, ““I’m delighted to say that the Islamic States very own Jabba the [Hutt] has been captured in Mosul. [He’s] responsible for the execution of men, women and children. This animal raped and murdered. Good luck hanging him Iraq.”
