Dim Lun Mang, a school teacher, was shot dead on November 17 at the Tuivel Zang Village in Tonzang Township of Chin State in Myanmar, allegedly by a Manipuri militant.
Dim Lun Mang was brutally murdered with multiple gun shots in front of the school children by Binod, a member of an Insurgent Group from Manipur State in India, stationed and operated illegally in Tonzang Township in Myanmar.
Locals have alleged that the Meitei insurgent group has been involved in drug trafficking, smuggling guns illegally, torturing local ethnic Zomi people, confiscating land and properties for decades, under gun point.
