A day after the mega event ‘Howdy Modi’ at Houston, US President Donald Trump said that he heard a ‘very aggressive statement’ by India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Earlier, Trump was seen calling Modi a ‘loyal friend’. He was seen speaking about strengthening bilateral ties with India at length.
However, when he met Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan, Trump said that he heard an aggressive statement by his Indian counterpart, Narendra Modi.

He added that the ‘aggressive statement’ was well received by the 50,000 people who were gathered at the NRG Stadium in Houston for the mega event, Howdy Modi!
It is to be mentioned here that Modi had lashed out at Pakistan for allegedly ‘nurturing terrorism’. Referring to the recent abrogation of Article 370 in Jammu & Kashmir, he said that it bothered to only those who “cannot even take care of their own country”.
Indirectly targeting at Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan, Modi said, “Some people have issues with the abrogation of Article 370, and the same people cannot govern their own country.”
The US President has offered his mediation yet again in order to solve the Kashmir issue.
However, PM Modi had reiterated that Kashmir was an internal matter and turned down third party meddling in the issue.
However, Imran Khan has once again appealed to Trump seeking help in resolving Pakistan’s issues with India. He has also appealed for help in solving differences with Iran and Afghanistan.
President Trump cracked a joke about this and remarked that Imran Khan ‘lives in a very friendly neighborhood.’
Trump further said that being the most powerful country, America had a responsibility and cautioned that the Kashmir issue was going to get much bigger.
