Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday extended his Christmas greetings to people and said that the teachings of Jesus Christ inspire millions across the world. PM Modi wrote, "May his path keep showing the way in building a just and inclusive society." May everybody be happy and healthy, the Prime Minister added. 

Besides PM Modi, other leaders including President Ram Nath Kovind, Defence Minister of India Rajnath Singh, Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and many others also greeted people on Christmas.

Minister of State for Youth Affairs & Sports Kiren Rijiju while wising every Merry Christmas said, "May the divine love of God descend into your home to make it a piece of heaven. This Christmas, I wish you all find peace and prosperity in every sphere of your life. Merry Christmas!"

US President Donald Trump took his Twitter handle to share video wishing everyone Merry Christmas.

President-elect Joe Biden’s dogs, Champ and Major, delivered season’s greetings Thursday, “no matter how you celebrate.”

Biden posted a video on Christmas Eve where the German shepherds spread some cheer with on-screen captions and general playfulness as “We Wish You a Merry Christmas” played in the background.

Barack Obama tweeted, "This Christmas looks different for all of us. As we spend time with those we love—in person or virtually—let us celebrate the blessings we cherish, embrace the spirit of giving, and look out for one another. From my family to yours, Merry Christmas!"

The leaders of the United Arab Emirates had a special message to all Chirstians around the world.

Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid tweeted on Christmas Eve: “Congratulations to all Christians around the world on Christmas.”

Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed also tweeted his message. He wrote: “We wish all of our Christian brothers and sisters in the United Arab Emirates and around the world a peaceful Merry Christmas.”
