MOSCOW: Russian President Vladimir Putin (68) spent several days hiking, fishing, and camping in Siberia, footage released on Sunday (September 26) showed.
After a professional trip to Russia's Far East in early September, the president paused for a few days in Siberia, according to a description under one of the 20 photos posted on the Kremlin website.
After dozens of people in his entourage were ill with COVID-19, Putin stated in mid-September that he would have to spend "a few days" in self-isolation.

Putin has built a macho image that appeals to many Russians and has previously been seen bare-chested and wearing sunglasses while riding a horse, carrying a hunting weapon, and piloting a fighter jet.
His outings were more mundane this time.
Putin was seen catching fish in a river, roaming through lush meadows, and conversing with Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, his typical holiday companion.
Putin has received two doses of Russia's Sputnik V vaccination. According to the Kremlin, he is in good health.
