At least four have been killed (including two civilians) and several injured after a blast near a major Sufi Shrine in rocked Lahore city of Pakistan on Wednesday morning.
The blast took place on Wednesday morning outside the Data Darbar shrine in Pakistan's second-largest city, Pakistan police said.
Lahore police Chief Ghazanfar Ali said that police officers were being targeted by the bombers and hundreds of pilgrims were inside and outside the shrine.
It is being reported that the wounded are being shifted to neighboring hospitals.
This dastardly attack on pilgrims during the holy month of Ramzan shows that terror knows no religion or boundary.
Update: Pakistan police have said that the death toll has risen to five. At least 24 have been injured, many of them are critical.
"Blast took place around 8:45 am outside gate number 2, where the police personnel were deployed for security," Pakistan media quoted a senior officer as saying.
