Turkey Arrests IS Member ‘Yusuf Huda’, Man Behind Terror Attacks in 20 Countries

New Delhi, November 23, 2019:

Turkey has claimed the arrest of Senior Islamic State (IS) member Ebu Cihad al-Din al-Nasir Ubeyde. Codenamed as Yusuf Huda is the name behind the attacks in 20 countries, said the Turkish Interior Minister.

The minister, reportedly, has announced that they captured a very senior Daesh (IS) member, Yusuf Huda who is known as a bomber, bomb-maker, and trainer for bomb attacks.

Huda is the mastermind in the attacks in Russia in 2018 and a shopping center in Hamburg of Germany.

According to reports, he trained Daesh members all over the world. He led face-to-face military training, bomb vehicle preparation, suicide bomb preparation, and poison assassination. He was also involved in recruiting and training would-be suicide bombers.

As many as 1,288 operations have been conducted by the Turkish security forces against IS in the first 10 months of 2019. Over, 3,500 Turkish nationals and 2,600 foreign nationals detained so far.
