Two Israeli tourists shot dead in Egypt amid Israel-Palestine conflict

Two Israelis and one Egyptian were killed after a police officer in Egypt opened fire on a group of Israeli tourists. The incident happened on October 8 in Egypt's Alexandria city amid the ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestine.

The development comes in even as the bloody battle between Israel and Palestine's Hamas has been raging on since October 7.

As per reports, another person was wounded in the attack which took place at the Pompey’s Pillar site.

The area was immediately cordoned off by the security forces following the incident and the suspected assailant was detained.

A video circulating on social media showed scenes after the attack, with ambulances rushing the victims to hospitals, while people looked on from behind a police barrier.
