DELHI YOUTH HELD IN IMPHAL WITH SMUGGLED GOLD

A 18 year old Delhi youth was caught at Imphal Airport while trying to smuggle three gold bars weighing 500 grams in a body cavity on to a flight. Mohit Kishan was held during pre-embarkation security check for a Delhi-bound Indigo flight. The CISF personnel noticed presence of metal in a body cavity of the passenger. He was taken to a separate place for thorough checking. On enquiry, he revealed he was carrying gold concealed inside his rectum. Three gold bars weighing about 500 grams valued at approximately Rs 15 lakh were recovered from his possession. The passenger and the gold were handed to custom officials in Imphal for further action.
