Demand for restoration of academic environment in MU

Churachandpur public and joint student bodies under the aegis of Zomi Students’’ Federation have demanded that Manipur University authority restore peace and normalcy in and around the varsity campus, besides depoliticising the academic environment vitiated by the ongoing stir by faculty and student bodies seeking ouster of Vice-chancellor Adya Prashad Pandey.

Stating that both academics and career of the students were being hampered, the federation demanded that the Vice-chancellor in-charge should be allowed to discharge his duties without any disturbance and interference.
