ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS ARRESTED IN MANIPUR

A combine team of Tengnoupal District Police led by Inspector John Lamkang, OC/ Tengnoupal under the command of N. Suraj Singh, DSP of Tengnoupal alongwith Superintendent Dr. S. Ibomcha Singh arrested three illegal immigrants who were travelling in a MST bus to Tengnoupal police station checking point.

The illegal immigrants were arrested for travelling with fake Aadhar cards reported to be prepared in Uttar Pradesh. The first arrestee named are Thant Zin Soe (32) son of U. Myoe Moint of Meikhtila City (Mandalay State), Myanmar,  in possession of one fake aadhar card with his name as Asaddullah, son of Muhammad of Kollaka Kollam, Vadakkumthala, Kollam, Kerala-690535. Thant Zin Soe went for study at Darool Uloom in Deoband, UP and completed a two year course.

The second arestee named Thant Zin Tun (29) son of Thint Lwin of Myitkina City, Kachin State, Myanmar, in possession of one fake aadhar card with his name as Md. Haroon, son of Md. Idrees of Moreh, Imphal, Manipur. Thant Zin Tun went for study at Jamia Miftahool Uloom in Jalalabad, UP  and completed a two year course and the third arrestee named Aung Thi Ha (28) son of Mg of Meikhtila city, Mandalay state, Myanmar, in possession of one fake aadhar card with his name given as Md. Ahmad, son of Md. Husain of Jaganpur, Faizabad, UP. He ran away from Meikhtila city to Jammu & Kashmir  via Moreh after his house was burnt in a Burmese and Muslim clash in 2013 and form Jammu & Kashmir he came to UP in 2014 and met Asaddullah in Darool Uloom and came together to Delhi to Imphal in Indigo Flight on 24th May and boarded MST bus heading for Moreh. Three plane tickets, three aadhar cards, one Miftahool-uloom ID Card were recovered. An FIR is being lodged at the Tengnoupal police station.
