Imphal: Union Home Minister Amit Shah has laid the foundation of multi-crore rupees worth 7 new projects, inaugurated two new projects, and launched a statewide rollout of e-office. He also laid the foundation stone of the highly-awaited Churachandpur Medical College.
The new medical college will soon come up at Churachandpur which will be the third medical College in the state. The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has sanctioned Rs 325 crore for construction of the ambitious project.
The 7 new projects inaugurated by Shah are Churachandpur Medical College, IIIT at Mantripukhri/ Mayangkhang, IT-SEZ at Mantripukhri, 3rd Manipur Bhavan at Dwarka in New Delhi, State Government Guest House, Shanglen in Imphal, State Police Headquarter Building in Imphal, Integrated Command & Control Centre, ICCC under Smart City, Imphal.

The two newly inaugurated multi-crore projects are Thoubal Multipurpose Project and Bishunupur-Tupul-Thoubal-Kasom Khullen Road.
