Sit-in protest of Police Constable Male, 2013 batch

All Manipur D.P.C. Completed Candidate of Police Constable Male, 2013 batch has cautioned that a 48 hours bandh will be imposed from the intervening night of June 4 till June 6 if the long awaited result is not declared before June 3. Spokesperson of the cop candidates association, Md. Najaya Hassan in a press conference held at Manipur Press Club gave the warning. The press meet was conducted after the association staged sit-in protest at Keishampat Leimajam Leikai community hall. The association tried to go for rally till the quarter of chief minister however they failed to proceed as the state police forces restricted them. Representatives of cop aspirants submitted a memorandum to chief minister office placing their demand. Najaya said according to high court order the result has to be declared before June 5 but the authority does not give even a single hint or assurance of declaring the result within a stipulated time. Such dormant action of the government made the cop aspirants frustrated further resulting to launch such agitations. However all the essential services will be exempted from the purview of bandh.
