MANIPUR: FOUR WHEELERS RESTRICTED TO ENTER INDO MYANMAR AREA

A team led by team led by the J. Khongsai (President of All Moreh Auto Owners and Drivers Welfare association) inspected the Parking places of Auto Rickshaw at Moreh Bazar road and Indo- Myanmar Friendship Gate No. 2 road.

As frequent traffic jam happens at Moreh town for which volunteers from the association help Traffic police in controlling the traffic at Moreh. As from past 2 years the association along with the police doesn’t allow the four wheeler vehicle to inter Indo- Myanmar Friendship Gate No. 2 road from 6 AM morning till 4 pm evening , but by disobeying the rule lots of 4 wheelers inter the road and made frequent traffic jam.

While the family of Auto Drivers depends their daily bread on daily wages, so the 4 wheerlers made hinder in their daily wages. The president said that the 4 wheeler from Imphal coming at Moreh and to all the Passenger vehicle who are running Imphal-Moreh Up down not to enter the Indo-Myanmar Gate No. 2 road from 6 am to 4 pm and also not to park in their allotted parking places or private parking places. If any 4 wheelers vehicle didn’t obey the rule than a strict action will be taken up by the association and the responsibility of the consequences should be in their risk stated by J. Khongsai.
