The Governor of Manipur has issued an order that there will be no programmes or functions in Manipur for next two days in the state to show their utmost respect to the martyrs who lost their lives in the terrorist attack at Pulwama in Jammu and Kashmir.
Moreover, the order stated that no Ministers or MLAs and no office employees shall attend any functions or programmes organized by any private or civil society organizations during the mentioned days.
It may be mentioned that 42 jawans of the CRPF were martyred at Pulwama district in Jammu and Kashmir on February 14, 2019, after a suicide bomber drove an SUV laden with explosives into a military convoy.
