Manipur records 141 fresh Coronavirus cases in the past 24 hours. Among the 141 cases, 116 cases are from the general population which (includes 79 males and 37 females) and 25 personnel from the Central Armed Police Force (CAPF).
Out of the 116 general population, 114 patients are locals without any significant travel history. All the Covid-19 positives have been shifted to the medical facilities and are been taken care of. The Government is currently taking all precautionary measures such as identifying the containment zones and contact tracing.

The state recorded one death in the last 24 hours taking the death toll to 25. The deceased is a 65years old female from Imphal West. The patient expired at JNIMS.
On the other hand with 17 recoveries, the recovery rate of the Covid-19 positive cases in Manipur reached 68.55 percent on Wednesday 26th August 2020.
Today, the Health Minister of Manipur inaugurated the State Teleconsultation & eSanjeevaniOPD. The eSanjeevaniOPD is the teleconsultation between patients and doctors using smartphones/Computer. The eSanjeevaniOPD is available on Google Play.
