MANIPUR: RECOVERY OF GRENADES PUTS SECURITY FORCES ON THEIR TOES

Bouts of suspicion rocked the state of Manipur this morning as one hand grenade was found at the premises of Yumnam Construction Brick Field along the Phundrei IV road. The constructional site is owned by one Yumnan Chaoba Singh of Athokpam Makha Lekai of Thoubal district. The intensity of the situation took a toll when another grenade of the same kind was detected at the turf of another constructional establishment of Arbindro Brick Field located at Khebaching khongjom under Thoubal district owned by one Sapam Arbindro Singh of Sapam Mamang Lekai, Khongjom. The recovery of the grenades have roused a grave matter of concern for the security forces.
